It seemed the perfect excuse to get a bit more fishing in myself... take my son, get him into it, then I could take him off of my wife's hands more often. Was it a good idea? |

I took Jon to Wintons in Burgess Hill, my local fishery. I didn't expect him to get much, but thought there was a chance. As it happened, it was me who almost blanked. Jon ... well he was straight in there, this was eight years ago and he's been carp fishing ever since. This picture got into the Angling Times while Dad caught a one pound tench. |
