Hiya im luke, im 15 and have been fishing for about 4 years now but have only just started carp fishing! Im from down in the south west in a place called Wiltshire, with some fantastic lakes in the area. If you are ever down here with your kit try to fit in a day at one of the lakes. The lake that a most like to fish is a lake called Little shearwater which is just about 500 yards from the well known lake shearwater, i fish here because it is a nice place to fish as it has a variety of differant sized fish and is a well looked after lake. Both of the lakes are well stocked with fish up to the 25lb+ so you will most definately get your moneys worth if you were to hook into one of the beasts. This was my first ghosty, it fell to a 15mm source pop-up fished over a bed of hinders 'pellet combo' pellets. It was during a 24hr session at little shearwater in the summer and was landed about 12am. |
